Specializing in Photo Restoration
During the last 47 years, I've dedicated my career to photography. My life has changed, but my lifelong passion for the art of photography remains as strong as ever. Over the years, I've had the immense privilege of taking thousands of portraits—watching babies grow into adults and later being trusted to capture their own children. Now, I am channeling that same dedication into a new chapter. Because I am focusing on breathing new life into your family's treasured history, I am thrilled to rebrand Alicia Photography as Alicia Photo Restoration.
Your memories deserve to be preserved exactly as they were meant to be seen; that is why, when I decided to change from taking portraits to restoring torn, faded, and damaged photos with the care and respect they deserve, I decided to do all the restoration work personally. I use technology as a helpful tool, but I rely on my own trained eye to ensure the person in your photo always looks authentic. From creating portraits from snapshots, removing background distractions, to adding color to old black-and-white prints, combining meticulous attention to detail and technical skill, I will bring back to life your memories.

My restoration process is designed to be simple and stress-free while ensuring the highest quality results for your precious memories.

Please get in touch with me to discuss the restoration work and to schedule an appointment

During your appointment, I will scan your photo(s) with my top-of-the-line professional scanner and give you a no-obligation estimate.

I personally will bring back to life your photo(s), using the most modern technology and my 47 years of experience.
The true art of restoration lies in enhancing what's there without erasing the character and story that make each photo unique.
The quality of the scan is critical for photo restoration because it determines the maximum possible detail, color accuracy, and repair potential of the digital image. It acts as the foundation for all subsequent editing. A high-quality scan captures subtle textures and tones that low-quality scans lose. A poor-quality scan cannot be fixed later, no matter how skilled the editor.
A high-resolution scan (800 DPI - dots per inch -, or higher) allows fine-detail repairs (like scratches and tears) at the pixel level without damaging the image structure; it also allows for accurate, subtle adjustments to color and contrast, rather than harsh, artificial-looking fixes.

"If you are looking for someone to restore an old photo Alicia should be your first choice! I am always concerned about giving over something so valuable and irreplaceable, but when I met with Alicia I was quickly put at ease with her compassion and dedication to preserving the memories. Her work is impeccable! I had a wedding photo of my parents from 65 years ago that was torn and crinkled. My son and future daughter in law wanted to display it at their wedding on a "memory table". Alicia not only fixed the imperfections, but took the extra care with her professional eye to enhance the features. She has an amazing gift! I am so grateful and blessed to work with such an outstanding, compassionate, and dedicated professional. I 100 percent recommend her services!"

"My husband had a very old picture of his grandfather. The photograph was torn in many places. We took the photograph to Alicia Photography, but we didn't know what to expect. The restored photograph was beautiful! Her work is impeccable. One would have never known that the original photograph was in such bad shape. I highly recommend Alicia Photography for photo restoration. We absolutely would use her services again."

"Alicia's Photography is a top notch photography studio with over 40 years of experience tucked away in a tiny town. I initially discovered about her personal business completely by chance, and I'm thankful I did. I needed services in restoring my photos that had been damaged by water and smoke during a recent fire accident where I live. Thankful I was able to retrieve these photos, one of which were of my late father when he was baby taken during the 1940's. Alicia runs her business out of her home, and she is a blessing in disguise. She's an award winning professional photographer who has many examples of her work. I assure you that she can do whatever you need done with your pictures; photo restoration, photo editing, cropping, touch ups, and more. I plan to go back to her for more photography work in the future and I urge anyone who needs photo restorations to do the same. I'm glad I got the chance to meet Alicia as she provided me with unforgettable services."
